This is the website for the various projects about Egodocuments currently going on at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

The central project is: Controlling Time and Shaping the Self: Education, Introspection and Practices of Writing in the Netherlands 1750-1914 of Dr. Arianne Baggerman. You can find textfiles of the inventory of Dutch  Egodocuments  and   travel journals   up to 1814. There is a link to the interactive database of printed Egodocuments and travel journals in the Netherlands 1813-1914 at the Institue of Netherlands History. You can also find updates on the current inventory project (1814-1914) on dutch egodocuments on this site on a regular basis. A collection of  sites and sources will be updated here. Rudolf Dekker's extensive bibliography on egodocuments and autobiography can be found here too.
